This was not what I expected! I thought this was a pop group (first time hearing this band) but I had to eat my hat because this band defies genre. The vocalist reminds me a little of kpop (and maybe 2010 Sleigh Bells if that makes sense), I happen to like both so thought that was cool. If you are a fan of complex piano layers and brass check this out! Also, the bassist and drummer are insane in here. I choked hearing one of the riffs it was that good! nvan92

"Ethereal, 3-dimensional, abstract chess in parks accompanied by the float of saxophone and drums. Wierd grooves that rock you deep into the sun."
Sungazer's first full release is as impressive as it is sudden. It breaks out with blistering speeds of bass improvisation from Neely, and the drums also accompanying show the raw power the duo hold within seconds. The following tracks roll in a mood of self-expression and presents the mind of jazz in a new light, of which many contemporaries cannot. RoosterJack
